Biography

Siobhan has been singing since she was very young. At 9 years of age she gave her first major solo performance in a "Riverdance" style show called "Shades of Green" which toured South Australia.

She recorded her first CD "With Love From Siobhan" at age 10 as a gift for family and friends back in Wales, Ireland and England and to give to many friends here in Australia.

A true musician, Siobhan has also been playing piano for 5 years and, as part of her school music program she has learnt the fundamentals of flute, drums and guitar. She has also recently started harp lessons with renowned Adelaide harpist/soprano Emma Horwood. She enjoys studying music theory and composition.

Siobhan is very serious about her music and is studying towards her AMEB Grade V exam in voice and AMEB Grade IV in piano. She intends to go on to study music at Elder Conservatorium and is setting her goals on being an Opera Singer and/or Music Teacher.

Siobhan has performed in two Youth Operas at the South Australian State Opera's Opera Studio: playing a Gingerbread Girl in the children's chorus of "Hansel and Gretel"; and playing Mozarts sister, Marianne, in "A Boy Called Wolfie". Both operas were directed by Patrick Lim with Anthony Hunt as Musical Director.

Music theatre is another of Siobhan's passions. She has appeared in four productions with the "Northern Light Theatre Company" two with the "South Australian Light Opera Society", and is currently rehearsing her second production with the "Marie Clark Theatre Company". She has also been in three school productions.

Siobhan's other interests include art, languages and astronomy. She is an avid animal lover (and hence a vegetarian!) and adores her pets (2 boxer dogs and a turtle).
